Catherine West, age 93 of Clarksville passed away Friday, December 26, 2014 at Spring Meadows Healthcare Center.
Visiation will be from noon until 7 p.m. on Friday, January 2, 2015 with the family present from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Foston Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Martin Chapel AME Church. Burial Martin Chapel Church Cemetery.
She was born April 29, 1921 in Palmyra, TN to the late Joe McFall and Mattie O’Neal West.
She is preceded in death by her husband Ruben David West, Sr and sons, James L. Moody, Rev. McArthur West and Carle West and brothers Ephfrim, Aleaxander and Lawerence McFall and sisters Pearl Burney and Francis Crouch.
She leaves to cherish her memories son Ruben D. West, Jr; daughters, Mattie Northington and Betty (William) Poindexter and daughter in law Charlotte Gilmore West and 15 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren and a host of great great grandchildren and family and friends.
