UPDATE: 2 suspects in custody after shooting, pursuit in Clarksville

The incident began when a deputy investigating a stolen vehicle at the B&L Market on College Street tried to make contact with the driver. The deputy got involved in an altercation, and the deputy fired shots.

Clarksville Christian School announced on Thursday, July 18, the hiring of Travis Cocke, who will be taking over as head softball coach for the high school program. Cocke takes over a Lady Centurions softball team who is coming off a season where they finished as state runner-up.
