The National Weather Service in Nashville has reported a strong thunderstorm, with a possibility of strong winds and hail, southwest of Clarksville, moving south at 15 mph.
Weather radios are operating again in Montgomery County as we have another chance of severe weather in the forecast.
A severe thunderstorm warning was issued for southeastern Montgomery County in Middle Tennessee until 5:15 p.m. today.
The National Weather Service could issue a frost advisory for the area.
The remnants of Tropical Storm Laura are expected to roll through Middle Tennessee Wednesday through Friday.
Clarksville may get some strong to severe thunderstorms this afternoon, with the main threat being gusty winds and heavy rainfall.
Temperatures are expected to reach into the low to mid 90’s with the heat index around 100.
