After a slow start to the season, the Austin Peay State University football team has won back-to-back contests, which earned them national recognition in the FCS Top 25 rankings.

After a pair of interceptions, including his first career pick-six, Austin Peay State University defensive back Cedarius Doss was named the United Athletic Conference’s Defensive Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.

Fort Campbell High outside linebacker Chris Talbott has been named Clarksville Now Player of the Week for his play on defense and special teams on Sept. 15.
