The Montgomery Central Indians hosted the county high school flag football championship against the West Creek Coyotes, a rematch of the championship game last year, that the Coyotes won.

Clarksville High starting pitcher Christian Henderson has been named Clarksville Now Player of the Week for his performance against Wildcat rival the Rossview Hawks. 

A back-and-forth pitchers dual, led by Gabriel Eddington’s 11 strikeout performance for MCHS, came down to the very last batter where the Indians won the game 3-2. With the victory, the Indians clinched their first district championship in over a decade. 

APSU two-way player Lyle Miller-Green shined throughout the matchup after finishing the game with a program tying record three home runs. Miller-Green also knocked in 7 RBI’s during the contest.
