 Kenwood senior Quarterback Jakoby Cox has been named Clarksville Now Player of the Week following his performance in the Knight’s 33-21 win over Northeast. Cox got it done in the air with 152 passing yards with a touchdown and on the ground with 135 rushing yards and three touchdowns.

The Kenwood Knights hosted the Northeast Eagles for a homecoming region matchup Friday, and the Knights earned a 33-21 victory, ending a five-game skid.

The Clarksville High School Girls’ Golf Team won the Region 7 Golf Tournament at the Humboldt Country Club on Monday.

The Clarksville Wildcats and Rossview Hawks traveled to Kirkwood High School Thursday for the District 13-4A championship.

Montgomery Central senior running back and linebacker Kanyon Conner has been named Clarksville Now Player of the Week following his performance in the Indian’s 8-0 win over Whites Creek.

The Clarksville Wildcats, Springfield Yellowjackets, Northeast Eagles, and Rossview Hawks all traveled to Kirkwood High School for the District 13-4A tournament semifinals. The number one-seeded Wildcats defeated Springfield 3-1, while three-seeded Rossview upset two-seeded Northeast 3-0.

Clarksville High football is riding a 16-game regular season winning streak, thanks to in part to the dominant defense led by assistant coach Taylor Stanley.
