The Rossview Hawks, Clarksville Wildcats, Kirkwood Cobras and Springfield Yellowjackets all met up at Kirkwood High School for the District 13-4A tournament semifinals on Monday.

Montgomery Central High School celebrated a program-record four state finalists and six total state medalists at the state championships.

The West Creek High Coyotes hosted the Northwest Vikings in the District 13-4A play-in game, which is a win or go home matchup. A competitive rivalry matchup saw both teams trade the lead down the stretch, however, there could only be one winner.

The American Cornhole Tournament in Clarksville kicked off on Friday afternoon as part of a two-day event at the Austin Peay State University Dunn Center. During the first day, close to 400 participants showed up to compete.

Rossview High senior guard Imani Evans has been named Clarksville Now Player of the Week following her performance in the Hawks undefeated week, as they were able to secure wins against Springfield and Northwest High.
Under the direction of head coach Cody Chandler, Kenwood Middle School will have a team on the baseball diamond once more for the first time in over half a decade.

Immanuel Gilmore is a 17-year-old senior at Montgomery Central High School, who also happens to be a two-time state tournament qualifier for the boys’ wrestling team at MCHS. As he was wrestling this past Saturday, he sustained a broken neck which led to an emergency surgery at Vanderbilt.

The Clarksville Academy Cougars hosted the Webb School Feet in a regional quarterfinal, and a win or go home matchup, with the right to advance to the state tournament on the line. The Cougars got in a hole early, and couldn’t crawl out of it, and Webb advanced 70-54, ending the Cougars season.
