The season opener is on the road against the Cleveland Browns.
The Govs downed Southern Illinois 12-9 Tuesday at Raymond C. Hand Park.
Game 4 on Wednesday night in Dallas, before the series shifts back to Nashville for Game 5.
Austin Peay returns to action when it wraps up its five-game homestand with a 4 p.m., Tuesday contest against Southern Illinois.
After winning the first two, the Govs fell to the Eagles 4-3 Saturday in the last game of the series.
With the victory the Govs are 18-15 on the season, 11-6 in the OVC.
The win was the first in a Friday doubleheader against Morehead State, with game three on Saturday.
