The Govs wrapped up the regular season at home Saturday with a 13-8 loss to Jacksonville State.
The rising redshirt junior was forced to sit out all last season from the Govs with a lower-body injury.
With the loss to the Gamecocks Friday, the Govs will be the No. 2 seed in next week’s OVC Baseball Championship.
The Govs will have to win the remaining two games in the series to claim the OVC regular-season championship.
Rossview High School downed Arlington 7-0.
