Northwest High School head boys basketball coach Thomas Stanley is stepping down after three years in the position.

The Clarksville High Wildcats made it all the way to the TSSAA Class 4A state championship game against the Farragut Admirals on Saturday.

The Clarksville High Wildcats traveled to Murfreesboro on Friday for game three of their TSSAA Class 4A State Tournament run against the Oak Ridge Wildcats. Each team traded blows throughout the game, but on a walk-off hit, CHS was able to win the game and capture a spot in the state title game.

Austin Peay State University’s baseball advanced to the third round of the 2025 Atlantic Sun Conference Baseball Championship after its win against Jacksonville in Game Seven of the tournament by a score of 9-1, Thursday, at Melching Field at Conrad Park.

The Clarksville Academy Cougars traveled to Reese Smith Jr. Field at Middle Tennessee State University for the TSAAA Division II-A state championship game.
The Clarksville Academy Cougars, after a quick bounce back from their morning game, faced the Knoxville Grace Rams in an elimination game, with the right to go to the state championship on the line.

The Clarksville Wildcats traveled to Oakland High School for game two of their state tournament run against the Green Hill Hawks. The Wildcats got up early and never relented, scoring 18 runs to blow out the Hawks 18-2 in five innings, and advance them to the state semifinals tomorrow at 2:00 PM.

The Rossview Hawks traveled to Siegel High School for an elimination game versus the Independence Eagles on Thursday morning. The Hawks’ defense held strong, but the offense could only scratch one runner across the plate, and it wasn’t enough to defeat Independence. Rossview fell 3-1, ending their season.
