On Wednesday, February 28, the Rossview High School football team celebrated the signings of three senior athletes to continue playing in college.

Following Clarksville High’s 62-51 win over the Collierville Dragons, the Lady Wildcats have officially punched their ticket to return to the class 4A state tournament.

As JCM Racing and owner Joe Maynard prepare for their third season of operating an NHRA team, JCM Racing will be adding two different drivers to represent their brand for the 2024 season, and you could consider it to be a family affair.

This was the second consecutive season Rossview High and Dickson County met in the regional championship and in both games, the Hawks walked away victorious, this time by a score of 71-54.

The Clarksville High girls’ basketball team continued their winning ways on Wednesday night after clinching a regional championship victory over Rossview High School.

On Tuesday night, the Rossview High boys’ basketball team went head-to-head with the Clarksville High Wildcats for a win or go home region semifinal game. Clarksville High battled throughout the contest as they have done all year, but Rossview High pulled away late for a 56-43 victory. 

Recently, on Saturday, Feb. 17th, the Clarksville Headhunters rugby team hosted their first match of the year at Liberty Park against the Murfreesboro Minotaurs. The Clarksville Headhunters came out on top for a 56-19 win over Murfreesboro.

The stage has been set for the region 7-4A championship following a series of semifinal games, which included the Rossview Lady Hawks defeating Henry County, and the Clarksville Lady Wildcats beating out Dickson County.

After breaking the school record for qualifiers and sending a whopping 18 to the 2024 TSSAA State Championships, the Montgomery Central program is coming home with five medalists and one state champion.

The Region 7-4A tournament kicked off Saturday with quarterfinal games for Clarksville-area teams.
