In a sectional showdown where the Rossview High boys’ basketball team left it all on the court, the Hawks held on to defeat the Cordova High Wolves 55-52. With their victory, Rossview is headed to the TSSAA class 4A state tournament.

On Tuesday night, the Rossview High boys’ basketball team went head-to-head with the Clarksville High Wildcats for a win or go home region semifinal game. Clarksville High battled throughout the contest as they have done all year, but Rossview High pulled away late for a 56-43 victory.
The stage has been set for the region 7-4A championship following a series of semifinal games, which included the Rossview Lady Hawks defeating Henry County, and the Clarksville Lady Wildcats beating out Dickson County.
After breaking the school record for qualifiers and sending a whopping 18 to the 2024 TSSAA State Championships, the Montgomery Central program is coming home with five medalists and one state champion.
