Kenwood High School senior forward Yazmine Pearson has been named the Clarksville Now Player of the Week following her dominant performance in the paint during the week of January 13. During that timeframe, the Lady Knights picked up a key district win over West Creek, and Pearson surpassed 1,000-career points.

The Clarksville High Lady Wildcats hosted the Rossview Hawks at a packed William Workman Gymnasium for a rivalry matchup between two of the top girls’ basketball teams in the city. In the end, Clarksville High dominated defensively and pulled away with a 46-18 win

The Clarksville High Wildcats hosted the Rossview Hawks for a rivalry showdown in front of a sold-out William Workman Gymnasium. It was close early on, however, the Wildcat’s effort and grit, and 17 points from Sheldon Huber, powered them past the Hawks for a 61-46 victory.

Montgomery Central wrestler Jack Levendusky, who wrestles in the 106-pound weight class, recently broke the program record for most wins in a freshman season after recording his 30th victory of the year.

The Clarksville Academy Lady Cougars hosted the Northeast Eagles on Proctor Court at Clarksville Academy on Thursday night. Clarksville Academy senior Anna Hellums made the most of her senior night, as she scored 23 points and powered the Cougars to a 61-40 win.

The Fort Campbell boys’ and girls’ wrestling teams hosted the All-Army Dual Wrestling match against Fort Knox and Russellville High on Tuesday night. In a lively environment, each Fort Campbell team emerged victorious with the boys’ winning with a record of 17-7, and the girls’ winning with a record of 10-3.
