Several Clarksville-area student athletes have qualified for the 2025 TSSAA track state championships, which will be held from May 20-22 at Dean A. Hayes Stadium in Murfreesboro.
Clarksville High senior catcher Korbin Reynolds and Clarksville Academy two-way player Evan Leonard have both been named one of three finalists for the TBCA Mr. Baseball Award in their respective classes. Reynolds is a finalist for the class 4A award, while Leonard is a finalist for class division II-A.

The Hawks struggled early, but outscored Dickson County 14-1 in the last five innings to earn a 15-3 win, sending Rossview to the Region Championship against Clarksville High, and Dickson to the loser’s bracket.
The Clarksville High Wildcats baseball team hosted the Henry County Patriots for the region 7- 4A semifinals on Friday night. The Patriots led early, but a five-run fifth inning powered the Wildcats to a 7-3 win and moves them to their third consecutive region championship appearance.
