Clarksville Academy senior outfielder named Clarksville Now Player of the Week following his performance in the Cougars wins over West Creek, Kirkwood and Montgomery Central High during the week of March 17.

Following the conclusion of the 2024-25 girls’ high school basketball season, it’s time to honor players representing Montgomery County schools with the Clarksville Now All-Area Girls’ Basketball Team and Player of the Year.

The Clarksville Christian softball team traveled to Northwest High School for a matchup with the Vikings on Thursday. The Centurions built an early lead, and never relented, earning them a 11-2 win on the road.

Clarksville High junior pitcher Braden Taylor has been named Clarksville Now Player of the Week following his performance in the Wildcats win over against Niceville High School in Florida.

The Clarksville Wildcats flag football team traveled to West Creek High for a matchup on Wednesday.

Kirkwood High Athletic Director Joshua Stoeckl announced in a press release on Wednesday that head girls’ basketball coach Micah Rochester has resigned from his position, effective immediately.
