Ward was one of only three college students from Tennessee asked to join a delegation from the Tennessee Music Education Association (TMEA) on its annual lobbying trip to the nation’s capital.
The event will begin at 2:30 p.m., and is free and open to the public.
Dr. Heather Richardson, author of “To Make Men Free: A History of the Republican Party,” will serve as guest speaker for APSU’s Constitution Day celebration.
The Living Learning Community is different from the transitional course all freshmen are required to take at Austin Peay.
Timmerman will visit Thursday, Sept. 29, as the featured speaker of the University’s annual The Peay Read.
The event, sponsored by Zone 3 Press and the APSU Center of Excellence for the Creative Arts, is free and open to the public.
