The board voted unanimously to give key approval for new minimum high school graduation requirements.
Austin Peay’s GeoClub won top honors of the GeoConclave, a competition that tests the academic and physical talents of six regional universities’ geology students.
The event serves as a one-stop shop for graduating seniors, allowing them to celebrate their accomplishments while also making sure there are no hiccups to prevent them from receiving a diploma.
Law enforcement is on site at both school locations and will remain so the rest of the school day.
The ACT consists of tests in English, mathematics, reading and science, each scored on a scale of 1–36.
The student is currently working to raise money to build a school in Uganda.
The grant funding was recommended by the Governor’s School Safety Working Group.
On Oct. 6, the University will welcome another batch of high school seniors to campus for its fall AP Day, allowing them to experience first-hand the excitement of “Being a Gov!”
