Two juveniles were arrested overnight Monday after shots were fired between two vehicles in a neighborhood east of Peachers Mill Road.

On day five of the Kenneth Hudspeth trial, the 50-year-old was found guilty of second-degree murder, first-degree murder in perpetration of a crime and two counts of aggravated rape in the death of 23-year-old Crista Bramlitt in 1996.
Hudspeth testified that he lied during that April 2019 interview about having sex with her and not remembering events on the night of Bramlitt’s death.
The cold case was reopened in 2019 with the discovery of new DNA evidence, and 50-year-old Kenneth Hudspeth of Arizona was a match.
