
With 447 active COVID-19 cases in Montgomery County, a number that’s been rising for two weeks, local leaders are urging businesses to require masks for employees and customers.

Parents and caregivers can make decisions about the spring semester starting today.

Active cases have nearly doubled in just 10 days.

All traditional students will learn virtually this week, and return to in-person classes next Monday if positive case and quarantine numbers are low enough to do so safely.

Ramon Nunez was initially diagnosed with COVID-19 in July. He will not leave the rehabilitation facility until Christmas.

The school plans to reopen this Thursday, and will continue taking health precautions.

Cases of COVID-19 in Montgomery County are continuing to rise, totaling at 268 active cases as of today, Oct. 9.

APSU’s Interim President Dannelle Whiteside emailed all students with the announcement, and reminded all to continue social distancing and mask wearing.
