An in-state battle against one of the Ohio Valley Conference’s top programs in recent years is on deck for Austin Peay State University women’s basketball, when they host a 1:30 p.m., Saturday, matchup with Belmont in the Dunn Center in a game that will have a vast impact on the OVC regular-season race.

Returning to the Dunn Center after a four-game road trip, Austin Peay State University women’s basketball forced Tennessee State to turn the ball over 30 times; while the Governors knocked down 11 three-pointers, rolling to an 18-point, 76-58 victory and their first Ohio Valley Conference win at home this season.

For the first time this season, Austin Peay State University women’s tennis will hit the road for a 1 p.m., Friday, match against Central Arkansas and a 1 p.m., Saturday, match against Southern Arkansas, with both matches being played at Burns Park in Little Rock, Arkansas.

After a pair of road matches to start the spring season, Austin Peay State University men’s tennis will hit the road once more for a 6:30 p.m., Friday, match at Lipscomb before finally welcoming Chattanooga to the Governors Tennis Center for a 1 p.m., Saturday, home-opening match.
