A rivalry game amplified by a battle for the final spot in the Ohio Valley Conference Basketball Championship, Austin Peay State University women’s basketball will host Murray State for a 5 p.m., Thursday tip-off in The First Financial Bank Battle of the Border in a game that means more than just bragging rights this season.  

After back-to-back sweeps on the road last weekend, Austin Peay State University women’s tennis returned home and took care of business once again; beating Cumberland, 7-0, Tuesday at the Governors Tennis Center, en route to their sixth-straight victory.

Two weeks ago Austin Peay State University women’s basketball dropped a heartbreaker to Belmont in the Dunn Center, Saturday the Governors will make the short trip down I-24 to Nashville for a 3 p.m. contest where they will look to return the favor to the Bruins at the Curb Event Center.
