CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) Movies in the Park kick off its 14th season at Heritage Park on Saturday, May 25.

The City of Clarksville’s free, outdoor movie series will start with the showing of “Incredibles 2”.

Pre-show activities, coordinated by the Clarksville Parks & Recreation Department, will begin at 6:30 p.m. and include a SuperHero Barrel Crush demonstration by Austin Peay State University’s College of STEM. In addition to the barrel crush, Austin Peay staff and students will lead other science activities, such as this interactive balloon-in-a-bottle demonstration of air pressure. Like this:

APSU college of STEM will have a special preshow demonstration themed for each movie this season.

The movie will begin promptly at 8 p.m.

Patrons are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs, food, and drinks; pets and alcohol are not permitted. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. A Parent Pod will be available, courtesy of Baby + Co, complete with rocking chairs, changing table and baby supplies for parents.
