Fort Campbell, KY. – The 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) command team of Major General Gary J. Volesky and Command Sergeant Major Gregory F. Nowak, are scheduled to hold a color casing ceremony as they prepare for their upcoming deployment to Liberia.
Operation United Assistance will include 700 troops of the 101st Airborne Division that will work with the government of Liberia to contain the Ebola virus, including building treatment centers and training of medical personnel.
This week soldiers are attending training sessions on Post on protective measures against Ebola, and how to wear special protection equipment.

The color casing ceremony will take place in front of Division Headquarters on Tuesday, October 14 at 3 p.m.
