Casey Karau, 30, passed away Wednesday, August 7th, 2019.
A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, August 14 at 1 p.m. at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the hour of service. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
Casey entered into this life on July 4, 1989, to Don Brown and the late Cynthia Horton. She was employed as a correctional officer. Casey enjoyed playing and spending time with her girls who meant the world to her. She loved to fish, be outdoors, and spend time with friends. Casey had a great sense of humor and enjoyed joking around with her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband, Shawn Karau; daughters, Lillian Ragan and Nora Karau; brother, Tim (Brandy) Armstrong; mother-in-law, Audrey Karau; aunt, Judy (Bobby) Dahlgreen; best-friends, Katie and Megan.
Pallbearers will be Shawn Karau, Tim Armstrong, Michael Lewis, Megan Espinosa, Jacob Espinosa, Austin Armstrong, and George McDaniel, Kenny Klien, Derek York, Richard Carter.
Instead of flowers, Casey’s family requests donations be made to Lillian and Nora’s education trust.
