Carolyn Ann (Sutton) Devers age 76, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024, at her son’s house in Southside.
She was born in Southside, TN, on December 14, 1947, to the late Susie Sinks Sutton and Ray Sutton. She was a retired homemaker, farmer, baker, hairdresser, and most of all a loving grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lonnie Devers, Sr., parents and brother Phillip Sutton.
Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Jackie Harmon (Rick) of Charlotte, TN and her son, Lonnie Devers, Jr. (Bobbi) of Southside, TN; six grandchildren, Garrett and Ricky Harmon II and Makayla, Caleb (Bailey Harrison), Shae and Carson Devers; 5 great-grandchildren Annabell and Ricky III, Bennett and Brayleigh, and Porter. Brother Ronnie Sutton and sister Bonnie Sutton; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Devers will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19 at McReynolds. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 18 from 4 pm to 7 pm; Wednesday, June 19 from 11 am until the hour of the service. Nave & Larson with Rev. Benton Jackson officiating. Burial will be at Rye’s Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Garrett Harmon, Carson Devers, Caleb Devers, Kerry Sutton, John Swiderski, Jr., and Ray Swiderski.
