Carol Ann Whitmire Bush, age 86, of Woodlawn passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at Tennova Medical Center.
Carol was born July 12, 1936, to the late Carl and Laverne Whitmire. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Edward L. Bush and grandson, Richard C. Duckworth.
Carol leaves behind her brother, Bill (Mary) Whitmire; daughters, Jennifer (Bob) Donnelly, Gwen (Gilman) Duckworth, and Kathy Bush (Mike Locke); son, Russell (Tammy) Bush; 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter. She will be missed by all!
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 11, 2022, beginning at 10:00 a.m. up until the hour of service at Neal Tarpley Parchman Funeral home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Neal Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home with Byron Clement Officiating.
Carol was a dedicated RN for 40 years and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was also an avid quilt maker.
