Ms.Carlene Smith, age 91, of Indian Mound, Tennessee passed away, Thursday, October 18, 2019, at Signature Healthcare Erin, Tennessee. She was born September 18, 1928, in Stewart County, Tennessee, daughter of the late Green and Gracie Paige Wallace. Ms. Smith was a homemaker and a Baptist.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Orbie Smith, brothers, Basil Wallace, Hubert Wallace, Namann Wallace, sisters, Keoka Wallace, Dora Wallace, one grandchild, one great-grandchild, and three great-great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Larry Smith, Dover, TN, Teddy Smith, Indian Mound, TN, Lillian Pulley, Cunningham, TN, Deborah Dennis, Dover, TN, and Kathy Hutchison, Indian Mound, TN, sister, Deloris Krieger, Seattle, WA, 10 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 20 great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday, October 20, 2019, with Rev. William Gray officiating. Burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery, Indian Mound, TN. Visitation will be from 12:00 until the time of service Sunday. Her great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
