MILWAUKEE (AP) — St. Louis Cardinals ace Adam Wainwright has been placed on the 15-day disabled list with a left Achilles and left ankle injury. The club admits he could be out much longer.
The two-time 20 game winner was injured while batting during a game Saturday and it is feared he will be lost for the season.
Today, he will undergo an MRI on his injured left Achilles and left ankle.
