CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Card skimmers were found on multiple ATMs in Clarksville Saturday.

According to the Clarksville Police Department, the first one was spotted at 9 a.m. at the First Advantage Bank on 2070 Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.

The credit card skimmer was affixed to the mouth of the ATM. When a bank employee reported the device to other branches, workers at the bank on 1929 Madison Street and 1800 Fort Campbell Boulevard also found skimmer devices on their machines.

In addition, a skimmer was found at the F&M Bank on 1891 Madison Street.

Authorities have removed the devices from all the ATMs. No images or videos of a potential suspect will be released until the banks open Monday and employees can look at the security camera footage.

In the meantime, all businesses, especially banks and gas stations, are asked to check equipment where credit/debit cards are used.
