CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Cara Miller, Technology Director at Clarksville Academy has been chosen for the Apple Distinguished Educators Class of 2015.
In a communication from Apple, the organization stated, “The Apple Distinguished Educator (ADE) Program began in 1994, when Apple recognized K-12 and higher education pioneers using a variety of Apple products to transform teaching and learning in powerful ways. Today it has grown into a worldwide community of over 2,000 visionary educators and innovative leaders who are doing amazing things with Apple technology in and out of the classroom. Cara was chosen from thousands of applicants for the esteemed program. As the only representative from Middle Tennessee, she will join collogues from all over the world. Program participants are from public, private, and collegiate levels and encompass a wide range of technological skills. Participants will spend a week together in Miami, FL this July. Cara will participate in the program for the next two years, but will continue to be a lifetime member.
Clarksville Academy had eight applicants to the Apple Distinguished Educators Class of 2015 and is proud of all the finalists. Cara Miller will represent CA well.
