CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A semi-truck driver was cited Thursday, July 10 after another vehicle was caught beneath the truck on Madison St. around 6:30 a.m.
According to Sgt. Charles Gill with the Clarksville Police Department, the driver of the 18-wheeler told police he pulled off the connector onto Madison St. but made a U-turn when he realized he was going the wrong way.
While completing the U-turn, the truck driver said he did not see a car that was in his path. The driver of the smaller vehicle said he was unable to stop in time, and the car slid beneath the semi-truck.
No injuries were reported.
The semi-truck driver was cited. No further information was released.
