CLARKSVILLE, TN – In response to the growing need for coordinated, community-wide solutions to homelessness, The Canopy Initiative will bring partners, public officials and community members together to celebrate progress made during its 100-Day Challenge and identify the next steps needed to help more neighbors move from homelessness to housing.
The gathering will serve as both a celebration and a working session, highlighting what has been learned through the 100-Day Challenge and focusing on how Clarksville-Montgomery County can continue strengthening partnerships, improving systems and expanding access to supportive services.
United Way of Greater Nashville serves as fiscal sponsor for The Canopy Initiative and recognizes the importance of this collaborative work to address homelessness with urgency, compassion and measurable action.
The event will be Aug. 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library, 350 Pageant Lane.
During the event, attendees will celebrate progress toward designated goals, identify effective tools, processes and collaborations, and set shared priorities for the next three to six months. Lunch will be served, and registration is requested. Guests may RSVP online at this link.
As the 100-Day Challenge concludes, The Canopy Initiative remains focused on building stronger partnerships, improving systems and helping more people move from homelessness to housing. There is a seat at the table for everyone, and every voice is respected and valued.
