CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The list of candidates for the March 5 Montgomery County Primary is now complete, and three of the six local races will be unopposed.
The Circuit Court Judge Part VI seat is a new judgeship created this year. Judge Ashleigh Travis was appointed to the position in November and will be running for election for the first time.
In School Board District 2, the winner will replace Margaret Pace, who is not running for re-election.

About the election
The Presidential Preference Primary and County Primary will include these local races and the presidential primary. The voter registration deadline is Feb. 5. Election day will be March 5, with early voting Feb. 14-27.
Winners of the local party primaries will face one another in the State Primary and County General Election on Aug. 1.
The presidential election, with state and City of Clarksville elections, will be Nov. 5.
