Candance “Candi” Susan Singer, age 55, of Woodlawn, TN died Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at her residence.
She was born August 21, 1958, in Sydney, OH to the late Orville Sturwold and Rita Mertz Clagg. Candi was also preceded in death by one son, Deforest Analope, Jr.
Mrs. Singer attended Woodlawn Church of the Nazarene. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who enjoyed cooking and gardening. Candi was a member of the Ladies’ Auxillary VFW Post 1160, as well as the Arbor Day Foundation. She was also a well-involved leader for local boyscouts and girlscouts and a member of the Handyman Club.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Sunday, August 10 and from 3 p.m. until the hour of service Monday at the funeral home. Memorial Service will be held at 5 p.m. on Monday, August 11 at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Pastor Vicki Patton officiating.
Candi is survived by her husband, Kerry Mark Singer; three sons, Michael Singer, Craig Singer (Carie), and Sean Corbett; two daughters, Christina McClellan (Jason), and Patricia Hall (T.C.); brother, Randolph Sturwold; sister, Sandra Brown; ten grandchildren, Sheldon Stanbary, Haidyn Bushnell, R.J. McClellan, Gabrial DoBrava, Brian McClellan, Aryelle DoBrava, Robert McClellan, Rachelle Singer, Paisley Hall, and Waylon Hall; and great grandson, Sheldon Stanbary, Jr.
