CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) It was a bit cold Saturday but the morning quickly warmed up with a fun-filled action game of laser tag with campers and air personalities from Camp Rainbow and 5 Star Media Group.

Over 50 people came together at Coy Lacy Park, a lot of them kids from Camp Rainbow, as the youngsters took on the adults, who by the way got a brisk workout trying to keep up with the children. The laser tag equipment and set up was donated by U Jumpin’ Foulks and Screaming Eagle Extreme Lazer Tag.

Camp Rainbow began in 1983 and was the dream of Mary Woodall and Diane Miner. The camp supports the needs of seriously ill children whose medical problems keep them from attending regular camps. Each year for one special week in June, volunteers come together at Brandon Springs Group Camp at Land Between the Lakes to provide the children with endless activities.

Be sure and listen for the Camp Rainbow Radiothon fundraiser, Thursday & Friday, February 16 & 17 on the Beaver 100.3 FM. Please show your support for the kids and the radiothon which benefits Camp Rainbow coming up the week of June 11.
