CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Busted Knuckle Pizzeria opened their doors recently and have been focused on providing their customers with an authentic pizzeria experience.

Founders Bill and Brandi Johnson kickstarted their business because it had always been Bill’s dream to operate his own traditional pizzeria. Now, the couple are looking to give their dream back to the community, which includes “bringing the heat with their wood-fired oven and serving up hand-crafted pizzas that celebrate bold new flavors and fresh ingredients,” according to their Facebook page.

“Owning Busted Knuckle Pizzeria is more than a dream come true; it’s an opportunity to create something for everyone in our community,” Bill Johnson told Clarksville Now.

“We’ve always envisioned the pizzeria as a space where everyone feels welcome, no matter who they are or where they come from. Sharing our dream with the community means providing not only delicious food but also an inclusive, friendly space where people can connect and belong. It’s our way of giving back to the people who support us, and it’s a privilege to play a role in bringing people together.”

Handcrafted Italian woodfired oven

The Johnsons told Clarksville Now their pizzas are crafted in a 100% imported, wood-fired oven rooted in over 75 years of Tuscan tradition.

Handcrafted from Italy’s finest refractory cotto clay, this oven delivers the smoky flavor and perfect crusts that define our artisanal pizzas, Johnson said. “Combining rich heritage with unmatched performance, it’s the heart of our kitchen and a testament to our commitment to authentic, quality pizza-making.”

Busted Knuckle also offers gluten-free pizza pies.

Busted Knuckle Pizzeria is at 2501 Highway 41A Bypass, Suite C, adjacent to Appleton Harley-Davidson. The pizzeria is open Tuesday-Thursday from 11 a.m.-9 p.m., Friday-Saturday from 11 a.m.-10 p.m., and on Sundays from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
