CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) It’s almost the middle of May and the even the National Weather Service seems surprised that they are forecasting the chance of frost for the weekend.
Meteorologist Faith Borden with the National Weather Services said after a very wet and windy Friday widespread frost is possible this weekend.
“It is going to be “brrrrrr” cold Saturday morning, we are looking at lows right around the lower 30’s and Sunday morning, low temperatures will be a little bit warmer around 35-40 but we could still see some frost,” said Borden.
Borden warned about making sure outdoor plants and animals are safe from the low temperatures..
