Brenda Jowan Fox, age 76, departed her loving family on August 2, 2021.
She entered this life to James Dillard Gallaway, Sr. and Belva Marie Stidham Galloway on July 11, 1945, in New York. Brenda was a resident of Erin, Tenn., where she attended church at Way Mark Ministries.
Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, and she leaves behind many loved ones. She was the mother to Lay Owens, Jr. (Tammy), Jowanna House (Randy), Amy Spears (Chuck) and Dillard “Matt” Owens. Brenda was blessed with 13 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
She also leaves behind her loving siblings, Anna June Evans (Doyle), James Dillard Galloway, Jr. and Sara Bell Childers (Melvin). She will be missed by many friends, nieces, nephews, extended family by marriage and her special friend, Ethel Maxine Nayyar.
Her wishes were to be cremated, and a service will be held at a later date.
