Brain Health A-Z is a health expo presented by Alzheimer’s Association for the community to learn more about brain health, Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.
The health expo will be open Saturday, August 17, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. It will be held at First Baptist Church at 435 Madison St.
The event is free and includes lunch, but registration is required.
Respite care is available.
There will be free health screenings including blood pressure and memory health. Health experts will be available to answer questions. Workshop topics are to include “Controlling anxiety: a path to clearer thinking.”
There will be door prizes and a healthy cooking demonstration by Edward’s Steakhouse.
