Clarksville, Tenn. – Congratulations to Tyree Boykin of Kenwood High School; he has been chosen as this week’s Lanier Lawn & Landscaping Athlete of the Week.
Boykin plays basketball for the Kenwood Knights and last week he helped lead his team to two victories.
Boykin’s performance was highlighted by his excellent free-throw shooting in the 4th quarter of both games. In the game against Springfield, Boykin was a perfect eight for eight from the free-throw line, six of which were in the 4th quarter. In the game against Clarksville, he was nine of ten, seven of which were in the 4th quarter. Over the span of the two games, he averaged 94% from the free throw line.
Boykin scored 13 points against Springfield and a game high 17 points against Clarksville High.
