CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – According to a source close to the incident, a bar bouncer was stabbed twice in the stomach around 2:45 a.m. Sunday, June 16 at a business on Tiny Town Rd.

The victim told the source he called a cab for the suspect, Gabriel Vasquez, 24, who was drunk and unable to drive. His companions had left him at the establishment and Vasquez did not have his car keys. While the victim waited with him, Vasquez accused him of taking his keys. When the bouncer denied having them Vasquez pulled out a knife and stabbed the bouncer twice in the stomach and cut his arm.

EMS treated the victim’s wounds at the scene. He was not transported to the hospital.

Vasquez (D.O.B.: 9/27/88, Given address: BLDG 6912, 30th St., Room 310, Fort Campbell, Ky.) was booked into the Montgomery County Jail and charged with aggravated assault.
