CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A body was found in a barn on Lafayette Road, just outside the northwest Clarksville city limits on Tuesday.
At about 6 p.m., the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office received a report of the dead body in the 1000 block of Lafayette Road, according to Lt. Bishop Delaney. Investigators responded and discovered what appeared to be an adult man who passed away some time ago.
“The body was sent to the medical examiner’s office to be identified and to determine the cause of death, however, the preliminary examination did not indicate any suspicious circumstances,” Delaney said. This is an active investigation.
