Bobby Dean Frommel, age 82, passed away on September 2, 2024, at his home.
Celebration of Life will be held 12 noon on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Pastor Nathan Pearson officiating. Burial will follow at Baggett’s Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Bobby entered this life on July 9, 1942, in Clarksville, Tn to the late William and Annie Wright Frommel. He worked for R.C Cola and owned B & M Vending. Bobby was known as the coke, candy, and chip man. He, along with his wife, had a route for Charles Chip’s.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Frommel, son, Jeffery Gates, and son-in-law, Eddie Hodges.
Survivors include his daughters, Karen Gates, Pamela Hodges Cottrell (Randy), and Gloria Jean Swan; grandchildren, Jory Thomas, Coral (Brad Daniel) Thomas, Duane Swan, Tammy Hodges, Samantha (Tyler) Petrone, Forrest Laine Gates, Kourtni Cottrell, and Nathan Cottrell; many great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Bobby also leaves behind his siblings, John Frommel, James Frommel, Dorothy (Hebron) Smith, Tommy Frommel, and Nancy (Perry) Fisher; special nieces and nephew, Susan Collins, Rachel (Bobby) Williamson, and John Raymond Frommel, Jr. He also leaves behind a host of other nieces, nephews, and friends.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
