Bobby Dean Wall, age 85 of Clarksville, passed away on May 24, 2021.

Wall was born on June 18, 1935 in Clarksville, Tenn. to Willie and Edna Painter Wall. He was a member of Hilldale United Methodist Church and was a math teacher at Clarksville High School, Montgomery Central High School and the director of housing security at Austin Peay State University.

For the past 50 years he owned his own business, Bobby D. Wall Construction. He specialized in home building and built or remodeled over 120 churches. Bobby enjoyed spending time with his family, working, traveling, reading and visiting with friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jo Wall; siblings: Juanita Bearden, Laverne Bailey, Joe Wall and Allen Wall. He is survived by his brother, Billy Wall; children: Todd (Norma) Wall, Jo Dee (Nathan) Wright and Debbie (David) Posey; grandchildren: Bridgette, Brittany, Bobbi, Jennifer, Derrick, Justin and Bethany; 11 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

The family would like to give special thanks to his caregivers: Sandra Wallace, Ruby Cross, Stephanie Sayer, First Light Homecare and Tennessee Quality Care Hospice.

A celebration of life service will be Friday, May 28, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Sykes Funeral Home. Pastor Stephen Sauls will officiate and burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Bobby’s nephews will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 27, 2021 from 4 to 7 p.m. and again on Friday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Bulle-Wall Cemetery Fund in care of Joe Wall Jr. @ 6195 Williams Circle, Cunningham, Tenn. 37052.
