FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Blanchfield Army Community Hospital staff will observe Organization Day Friday, Oct. 19.

This afternoon is set aside annually for staff to build esprit de corps and celebrate their roles to help promote health and wellness in the Fort Campbell community.

Regularly scheduled primary and specialty care appointments will only be available in the morning hours Friday, Oct. 19. The Emergency and inpatient services including the inpatient ward, labor and delivery and mother/baby units, and the intensive care unit will remain open.

Although soldier and Patient-Centered Medical Homes will not be scheduling or accepting walking appointments after 10 a.m., Friday, Oct. 19, patients with acute symptoms are still encouraged to call the appointment line. After 11 a.m., specialty services will close for routine care, except for X-ray, laboratory and other ancillary services that are considered an emergency.

To allow pharmacy staff to participate in this team building event, the Byrd, LaPointe, Screaming Eagle and main hospital pharmacies will offer the last prescription ticket to be pulled at 11:30 a.m., while the Town Center Pharmacy, located on Michigan Avenue adjacent to Military Clothing and Sales, will operate normal hours from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
