Blaine Hodge, Jr., age 60, of Clarksville, died Thursday, February 20, 2014 at his home. He was born in Newton, NC, to the late Blaine Hodge, Sr. and Thelma Capps Hodge. Blaine was also preceded in death by his brother, Doug Hodge.

Blaine was active in both the Army and the Marines, having served in Vietnam and the First Gulf War. He was a member of Madison Street United Methodist Church, a past President of Noon Rotary Club, a Shriner, and a Mason in Vermont.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, February 23, at Madison Street United Methodist Church with Rev. Laurie Hynson officiating. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m., Sunday, at the church. Full military honors will be held.

Mr. Hodge is survived by his wife, Bonnie MacLean Hodge; son, Blaine Hodge, III (Charlsey), of Clarksville; daughter, Ashley Blaire Hodge (Adam Woodring), of Clarksville; sister, Paulette McCreary, of Newton, NC; one nephew, Anthony McCreary; and one niece, Niney Hodge Johnson.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors, 223 8th Avenue South, Nashville, TN 37203.
