CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Black Rifle Coffee is bringing a new brick-and-mortar location to Wilma Rudolph Boulevard, according to a building permit filed with the Clarksville Building and Codes Department.
In February, B.R. Miller & Co. filed for a permit for the finishing out of a new Black Rifle Coffee location at 2570 Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.
While few details are known about the new location, the building includes a drive thru lane and window as well as a large interior seating area.
Clarksville Now reached out to B.R. Miller and Black Rifle Coffee Co., but neither were available for comment.
What is Black Rifle Coffee?
The veteran owned and operated Black Rifle Coffee Company has developed a nationwide following since their founding in 2014, due largely to their focus on hiring veterans and their vocal support of law enforcement and first responders.
Black Rifle roasts their coffee in Salt Lake City, UT as well as Manchester, TN. Dozens of local stores, restaurants and gas stations carry their products.
According to Coffee or Die, Black Rifle opened its first self-owned, brick-and-mortar shop in San Antonio, TX in October, 2020, with plans to open more across the country.
Black Rifle CEO Evan Hafer attended the grand opening himself, cutting the ribbon with a bayonet.
“Black Rifle Coffee Company is quite literally the combination of my two favorite passions. I take pride in the coffee we roast, the veterans we employ, and the causes we support,” says Hafer in a statement on the company’s website.
No opening date has been set for the new Clarksville coffee shop; however, final touches are being put on the new building.
