A Funeral service for Billie “Sue” Brown, age 92, of Clarksville, will be Friday, February 17, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Sykes Funeral Home. Bro. Artie Rivers will officiate. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 16, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home and again on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
Sue passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023. She was born on April 6, 1930, in Montgomery County, TN to Charles and Maggie Adkins. She was a co-owner of Bo and Bob’s Bi Rite.
She loved watching Lady Vols Basketball and traveling. She also enjoyed spending time with family, especially her great grandchildren; they were the light of her life.
In addition to her parents, Sue is preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Bo Brown; siblings, Bunt Adkins, Leonard Adkins, Gilford Adkins, Ewing “Skeet” Adkins, Bobby Joe Adkins, Patricia Adkins, and Priscilla Adkins. She is survived by her daughter, Jane (Danny) Clark; grandsons, Christopher (Krissy) Clark and Matthew Clark; and great-grandchildren: Ethan, Abby, and Ella.
