NASHVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A new bill filed Feb. 1 by TN lawmakers would require all local education agencies (schools) to prominently display the national motto “In God We Trust.”
The bill is titled the National Motto in the Classroom Act. It was sponsored by Rep. Susan Lynn of Mount Juliet and Sen. Paul Bailey of Sparta.
