CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The rain held off for the Bikers Who Care 43rd annual Leslie W. Watson Memorial Toy Run and Benefit Party this weekend, rolling from Governor’s Square Mall to the Clarksville Speedway.

With about 600 bikers taking part, the Toy Run collected items for YAIPak Outreach to distribute this Christmas to kids in need. “We’re just doing what we do, trying to help the community and live our lives, and ease on and thank the Lord for the good lovin’,” said organizer Leslie H. Watson.

The party at the Clarksville Speedway and Fairgrounds featured live music from Kid Kentucky and Shallow Side. Attendees also enjoyed pit bike races, drag races, field events, a bike show and stage contests.

Bikers Who Care, an organization of motorcycle enthusiasts dedicated to supporting the Dream Factory by fully sponsoring Camp Rainbow – a summer camp for seriously ill children – is committed to continuing the Toy Run, over 40 years later.
